I have been an educator for the past 26 years within the Port of Spain and Environs Educational District, where I have served as a secondary school teacher and administrator. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of the West Indies (UWI), a Master’s in Education focusing on Youth Guidance, and a PhD in Education. I founded and continue to lead an educational NGO that designs specialized programs for children with diverse special needs and implements skill-building initiatives tailored to underserved communities. My decision to enter politics stemmed from my first hand encounters with systemic gaps in education and social services. My advocacy for inclusive education, community empowerment, and national progress aligned seamlessly with the Patriotic Front’s platform, which prioritizes investment in human capital, educational reform, and policies fostering unity and self-reliance. By becoming a candidate, I champion a vision of Trinidad and Tobago where every citizen, regardless of ability or background, can thrive, a mission rooted in my lifelong commitment to nurturing potential and strengthening the nation’s social fabric.

I am a dedicated father, businessman, and entrepreneur with deep roots in the Laventille/Morvant community. I grew up on Alexis Street, Morvant, and am a proud alumnus of Success Laventille Composite School. I serve as the Managing Director of Phoenix Logistics (Trinidad) Ltd and have held roles as 1st and 2nd Vice President of the Customs Clerk and Customs Brokers Association (CCCBA), as well as 3rd Vice President of the Caribbean Association of Customs Brokers (CACUB). Beyond business, I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact. Whether through mentorship programs, community initiatives, or motivational speaking, I strive to uplift those around me and create a brighter future for Laventille East/Morvant and beyond. I am a natural motivator, dedicated to inspiring the next generation to dream big and work hard to achieve their goals. I believe in the transformative power of education, mentorship, and opportunity, and I am committed to creating pathways for success in my community. I am honoured to serve the people and change the narrative of the stigma tied to our community, Laventille East/Morvant.

ARETHA CLARKE

I am Aretha Clarke, and I have a deep commitment to the well-being and development of our community. I hold a Certificate in Social Work from UWI Open Campus Tobago (2007) and a BSc in Social Work from UWI, Barbados (2011). Since 2012, I have served as a Programme Coordinator with the Tobago House of Assembly, facilitating workshops on Elderly Care and Domestic Violence. I have also contributed as a panelist with the Ministry of Social Development and various NGOs, including the International Women’s Resource Network and Justice for Women Foundation. Additionally, I work with the National Safe Parents Organization, advocating for Family Court issues globally. I am passionate about supporting Persons with Disabilities, having volunteered with the Special Olympics Committee of Trinidad and Tobago and organizations in Barbados such as the National Disabilities Unit and the Blind Cricket Association. I also advocate for Domestic Violence reform and judicial issues related to Custody, Access, and Child Protection. The Patriotic Front’s mission to foster growth and development aligns with my commitment to empowering Tobagonians. Their grassroots approach to governance and focus on citizen participation resonate with my vision of a stronger, more united nation.
DR NAOMI GOPEESINGH

I am a founding member of the Patriotic front and a member of the National Executive. Proud to be part of a movement that will bring effective representation transparency, accountability, and good leadership that has been lacking for so long. I look forward to representing and improving the lives of the people of Fyzabad, where I lived with my family as a child, spending many of my formative years there. I Hold a BSc Hons in Medicinal Chemistry from Kingston University London, and a (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) MBBS degree from the University of the West Indies 2004 I have worked as a doctor for over 20 years primarily in the field of Emergency Medicine. Treating patients at both the San Fernando General Hospital and the Princes' Town District heath facility. I have been an advocate for the rights of medical students and junior doctors in my roles as President of the Trinidad and Tobago medical Students Association (1999-2001), an active member of MPATT (Medical Professionals Association of Trinidad and Tobago) (2008-2011) and as President of the San Fernando Doctors Association (2009-2011). As part of a Patriotic Front government I look forward to providing an efficient healthcare system that adapts to the present and future needs of the people of Trinidad and Tobago.

Born and raised in D’Abadie, I have dedicated my career to public service, with over 30 years of experience in key ministries, including Energy, National Security, Finance, and Planning. I have led transformative projects in renewable energy, policy development, and strategic planning, working with both local and international stakeholders to advance Trinidad and Tobago’s growth. Academically, I hold a Master of Science in Telecommunications Regulation and Policy, earned through an international scholarship as one of only five recipients from Trinidad and Tobago. I graduated with distinction, achieving the honor of top student worldwide on nine occasions. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Management and Sociology from the University of the West Indies, where I developed a strong foundation in political philosophy and research. Beyond my professional life, I have a passion for fashion, Ballroom and Latin dancing, and I believe in using my journey to inspire others, especially those from humble beginnings, to pursue excellence. I first entered politics as the Youth Officer for the Pointe-a-Pierre constituency (now Claxton Bay) and then became an executive member of the National Youth Arm of the United National Congress. My deep interest in politics and national development was shaped by my upbringing in a household where discussions on politics and national issues were a daily fixture. Inspired by influential political figures, both past and present, I am committed to public service as a means of improving lives and building a better future for my country. With 16 years of experience in the financial services sector, I have developed expertise in banking, risk management, and financial planning. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Digital Technology Management from the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, and a Certificate of Higher Education in Law from the University of London. My early education was at ASJA Boys’ College, San Fernando. I am a dedicated gym enthusiast who enjoys weight training, outdoor activities, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. SACHA MANGROO

I was born and raised in Princes Town. Family, to me, is one of the most crucial institutions in society, and I take my role as a mother very seriously. Public speaking, research, writing, and cooking are my passions. After graduating with a BSc. in Sociology/Criminology Minor, I began my career in Social Work. In 2016, I developed rehabilitation models for adolescents and abused women. From 2016 to 2018, I facilitated a variety of programs, including Help and Restoration for Families’ Personal Development Initiative Workshops, Parenting Workshops, Anti-Bullying Seminars, and Mental Health lectures. I have developed schemes for parenting workshops in communities and initiatives focusing on bullying and substance abuse in schools. My goal is to do everything in my power to improve the quality of life for every citizen in Trinidad and Tobago. I believe that politics is about serving people. Our country is rich in resources and talent, yet too many people live in poverty. Instead of waiting for change, I chose to stand up and contribute to the change we need. The Patriotic Front was my first and only choice. I am honored to serve, and I am committed to doing whatever is necessary to change the narrative and reassure the nation that they are heard, loved, and cared for. AFIFAH MOHAMMED
CANDIDATE FOR CHAGUANAS EAST
I was born and raised in the constituency of Chaguanas East. From an early age, I have held a deep-seated desire to create a better Trinidad and Tobago for all our people. In 2005, I joined the Youth Empowered Society, a group established by Ms. Panday that ventured into rural areas to listen to the concerns and challenges facing our citizens. I was also involved in the Organisation for Socio-Economic Development, where medical clinics and physical wellness days for underserved rural communities were organised. In 2006, my journey in political activism began when I was appointed Chairperson of the Youth Arm of the United National Congress. In this role, I became an advocate for young people, championing their issues and working to build a robust youth following within the party through engaging events and a dedicated voice within the party structure. In 2008, I had the privilege of serving as a temporary Opposition Senator during the 9th Republican Parliament. During my time there, I contributed to the debate on the Municipal Corporations (Amendment) Bill and Equal Opportunities Legislation, gaining invaluable experience. I am one of the founding members and currently sit on the party’s National Executive. Beyond my political involvement, I have spent over 20 years working in the manufacturing and service industries. Academically, I studied Accounting (ACCA), pursued studies in Law, as well as Information Technology and Graphics. This diverse educational background has given me a well-rounded perspective and the tools necessary to tackle challenges ahead.

I am Kenrick Serrette, a dedicated community advocate, creative professional, and tech enthusiast. My passion for social engagement has led me to use skills in graphic design, video editing, and social media marketing to connect with and uplift others. My journey is one of resilience. Orphaned as a baby and found in the slums with my brother, we were taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital and later placed in an orphanage. Thankfully, we were adopted by two extraordinary individuals who gave us love, guidance, and a second chance at life. Raised in a strong faith-based home, I became one of the youngest preachers in my church while my brother pursued his gift for singing. From serving in the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment to forming a dance group that used art for empowerment, I have always been driven by a commitment to service. Born and raised in Cumuto, I hold a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of the West Indies. Currently, I serve as a Senior Logistics Coordinator. I believe leadership is about service, which is why I am stepping forward to ensure that the people of Cumuto/Manzanilla receive the resources and attention they deserve, no longer struggling for basic necessities like reliable water and infrastructure. My community has always been central to my life, from playing cricket in the streets to serving as secretary of the Cumuto Shiva Mandir’s Youth Group.
